Working with Rolling Loud for their Bay Area festival in Oakland was a dream come true. I was really excited to work with the media team filled with many talented artists. I hope you enjoy my gallery from the festival, these are some of my favorite photos I shot while there! S/o to them for believing in my vision.
Sound Set 2018 was another one for the books. Anytime I get to shoot at a Festival I get really excited (and a bit anxious)! I took a different approach to editing these photos. You might notice the warmth in the images and a focus on crowd shots. Thank you to Sound Set & Rhymesayers for having me again!
As soon as I got confirmation that I got a photo pass for Summer Smash I went and purchased a GreyHound ticket. The ride was 10 hours there and back and completely worth it!
Sound Set 2017 was dope, I got introduced to Playboi Carti, Amine and finally go to see Travis Scott live. Lauren Hill was a highlight too!
Okeechobee was nice enough to give me a photo pass to their 2017 festival! After getting to the airport and taking a $98 Uber to the festival, I got stranded at the wrong entrance. Luckily after trying to hitch hike for 20 minutes with a $20 in my hand, some nice people picked me up and took me to where I needed to be. They also gave me a nice spot to camp with them. S/o to them one time! These are my favorite photo’s I shot while there. My favorite sets was Rae Sremmurd, Solange & D.R.A.M.
I went to Afropunk Brooklyn last year and brought a Fuji X100T with me. These are a few of my favorite photos I shot while there. Hopefully someday I’ll get an official photo pass for the festival. It’s my favorite I’ve attended so far.
This was my second Electric Forest, this is one of the best festival experiences I’ve had. The forest is incredible, you can spend hours exploring and still have a lot more to see. On top of that there’s acts every hour. If you get lucky you might catch a secret set in the forest.
Bas stopped at First Ave 7th St Entry for his Milky Way tour on Feb 8th!
The tour is titled after his third album ‘Milky Way’, which was a great follow up to his last LP ‘Too High To Riot’. Bas played every banger he has. The Dreamville artist even played a snippet of a track from the Revenge Of The Dreamers session held last month where a slew of artists came through to connect and collab. The track featured Ski Mask The Slump God & J.I.D. Spoiler, it’s hard!!
Faves of the night include: Clouds Never Get Old, My Nigga Just Made Bail, Tribe, Spaceships + Rockets & Boca Raton.
Noname @ First Avenue on Jan 25th
I’m honored I got to photograph him during his Divine Feminine Tour at First Avenue.
