Sound Set 2017 was dope, I got introduced to Playboi Carti, Amine and finally go to see Travis Scott live. Lauren Hill was a highlight too!
GRiZ @ The Armory on 5/17. My first official concert I shot was a EDM show. I decided to try and get back into it again after shooting a fair amount of hip hop shows. GRiZ is different from your typical DJ, he plays sax all throughout his show and brings a full band with him to help bring it to life.
Working with Rolling Loud for their Bay Area festival in Oakland was a dream come true. I hope you enjoy my gallery from the festival, these are some of my favorite photos I shot while there! S/o to them for believing in my vision.
SXSW is the biggest event I've had the pleasure of working with. Thank you to the team of amazing leaders for having me and helping me out along the way. They saw potential in my work and gave me so many lessons and challenges to help me better it. These are just a little of the photos I shot while out there. Thanks for viewing!
J.I.D pulled up to Minneapolis on his Catch Me If You Can Tour. He came with openers SABA & Mereba.
Sound Set 2018 was another one for the books. Anytime I get to shoot at a Festival I get really excited (and a bit anxious)! I took a different approach to editing these photos. You might notice the warmth in the images and a focus on crowd shots. Thank you to Sound Set & Rhymesayers for having me again!
As soon as I got confirmation that I got a photo pass for Summer Smash I went and purchased a GreyHound ticket. The ride was 10 hours there and back and completely worth it!
Okeechobee was nice enough to give me a photo pass to their 2017 festival! After getting to the airport and taking a $98 Uber to the festival, I got stranded at the wrong entrance. Luckily after trying to hitch hike for 20 minutes with a $20 in my hand, some nice people picked me up and took me to where I needed to be. They also gave me a nice spot to camp with them. S/o to them one time! These are my favorite photo’s I shot while there. My favorite sets was Rae Sremmurd, Solange & D.R.A.M.
I went to Afropunk Brooklyn last year and brought a Fuji X100T with me. These are a few of my favorite photos I shot while there. Hopefully someday I’ll get an official photo pass for the festival. It’s my favorite I’ve attended so far.
This was my second Electric Forest, this is one of the best festival experiences I’ve had. The forest is incredible, you can spend hours exploring and still have a lot more to see. On top of that there’s acts every hour. If you get lucky you might catch a secret set in the forest.
I’m honored I got to photograph him during his Divine Feminine Tour at First Avenue.
